This weekend the Lightning Motorsports team headed back down to The Can-am Motorsports Park, On Friday night the results the team was looking for were a little more difficult to get, As Shane started in the 8th position and by the end of the 8 laps, Shane crossed the line 3rd. " Were pretty quick right now but were looking for a little more, The car was a little loose in the middle. Tire choice will be critical for tonights feature" Shane said after the Heat race. For the Feature Shane lined up 18th and with only 25 laps in the feature Shane had some work to do. As the feature started Shane started working his way towards the front reaching the 13th position by lap 10, Shane kept working his way towards the front and switching lines on the track and by the end of the Feature Shane crossed the line in 5th Place. "The car was a little hard to get the handle of at the start of the race but once I started trying different things out on the track The car was on a rail, it was one of the best cars I've had at the end of the race and that's what you want, you can't win a race at the begining, I really got to thank my Dad he made a couple changes seconds before I hit the track and that's what got us another top 5". This weekend The lightning Motorsports team is still unsure where they'll be this Friday but they will be at the Brockville Ontario Speedway Saturday for there Open Practice.
